As a past proud and dedicated prestonite, I accepted the invitation to attend another Hall Dinner (the planning for which I was not involved in)...and fo rthis year it carried the theme..'Back to basics'. Well, I love preston hall and I will forever be a shark...BUT...lawks have mercy man!!!! I didn't think they meant 'HI-LO BASIX'!!!
I must say though that I enjoyed the change of venue...the Mona Visitor's Lodge was beautifully lit and the space was more than accomodating. But let me get right to the basix. gone by when during the cocktails preceding the actual dinner you'd relegated with the soothing and sweet caribbean sounds of the Panoridim Steele Orchestra (somethings just can never get old).
